Over the years, we’ve tested dozens of different lubes, some of which are pretty good, if not the best in their particular category. For those people, here are the honorable mentions in this section.
#LubeLife Water-Based Lube $10: I’ve been a fan of #LubeLife for a while. A trusted brand with water-based lube thick enough for all kinds of sexual play. The company recently added a new product to its line of lubricants, and it’s light and refreshing. It has a smoother, smoother texture that lasts longer than other brands, and like all of our lubes, it’s one of the best value for money. If you have limited funds but want a lube that will make you feel luxurious and pampered, this is the lube for you.
Dame Arousal Serum $23: I’m not a big fan of lubes that warm or tingle, and I’ve yet to try one that truly makes me believe in it. But Dame’s Arousal Serum comes close. It’s a warming, tingling water-based lube with peppermint oil, cinnamon leaf oil, and ginger oil that gives you that special sensation during sex. If you have sensitive skin, leave these products alone, but if you don’t and want to try a irritating lube, this is for you. Try it on areas other than your genitals first to see how your skin reacts.
Ycosmetics Lip Lube Love $29: This is an unusual lube. It has a pleasant medium viscosity that provides silky smooth lubrication, but it has a few other tricks up its sleeve. It is designed to moisturize the most intimate areas while providing a lubricating effect, and on top of that, it is a very good moisturizer and also works as a lip moisturizer. This time it’s the upper lip, the upper lip of the face. However, only use one drop. If you use more than that, your lips will become very slippery and you’ll end up looking like you just ate ribs, not in a sexy way.
Coconu Water-Based Lube $27: This is a great water-based lube that provides long-lasting lubrication without leaving a sticky residue. Also, since it is made from coconut water, it has a gentle scent.
Mode Shine Water-Based Lube ($25): This used to be our top pick. It’s thick for a water-based lube, but provides a silky smooth texture. Water-based lubes with higher viscosity typically last longer between applications. Using the thumb test, this lube provides a silky smooth cushion between your fingertips. This is a good indicator to keep things nice and smooth.
