One of the best souvenirs I have from my first trips around the world is the diary I’ve kept for 18 months. Capturing my thoughts and feelings when I travelled has allowed me to relive the trip over and over again.
Remembering will disappear, so relating an event when it happens is valuable. To remember the people I met, where I saw, and what I felt? I am pleased to have kept a journal to see my journey through my younger self’s eyes. I was young and smart!
While commemorating your social media trip, you can be more personal and honest in the journal. After all, unlike social media, you are (probably) the only thing you read. Also, using long-form writing will allow you to go into more detail and make it easier to see in the future (no endless scrolling).
That’s why I created a travel journal. Because I think we should spend our time journaling as more travelers explore.
I released this journal last year and it’s sold out!
But I found 96 copies in my apartment, so I sell my diary!
The journal has guided prompts to help you remember everything you experience on the road, as well as quotes that continue to inspire along the way. It also includes pre- and post-trip sections so you can set your intentions before recording your experience before you can look back at it all.
It has everything you need to record your trip.
There are guided prompts so don’t forget to write down all your important memories. There is also free space, so you can run your ideas into the wild. It has inspirational travel quotes to keep you inspired. It’s as thick as Moleskine, making it perfect for traveling together.
I designed my journal to be as simple and streamlined as possible. It helps you get into the journaling habit every day.
This journal costs just USD 15 and includes free shipping. It is 168 pages thick, weighs .75 pounds and comes in four colors.
You can click here to order your journal.
Get one of the last copies of these journals. They were loved by the community and I’m sure you and you will love it to give this!
Note: This journal is only available to US customers at this time. If you are in another country, please email me and I will see how much it will cost to ship the journal to you!

Book your trip: Logistic Tips and Tricks
Book your flight
Find cheap flights using Skyscanner. It’s my favorite search engine as I search for websites and airlines all over the world.
Book your accommodation
You can book a hostel at the hostel. If you want to stay somewhere other than a hostel, use booking.com to consistently return the cheapest prices for guesthouses and hotels.
Don’t forget to have travel insurance
Travel insurance protects you from illness, injuries, theft and cancellations. It’s comprehensive protection in case something goes wrong. I have had to use it many times in the past, so I will not travel without it. Here are my favourite companies that provide the best service and value:
