One of the best souvenirs I have from my first trips around the world is the diary I’ve kept for 18 months. Capturing my thoughts and feelings when I travelled has allowed me to relive the trip over and over again.
Remembering will disappear, so relating an event when it happens is valuable. To remember the people I met, where I saw, and what I felt? I am pleased to have kept a journal to see my journey through my younger self’s eyes. I was young and smart!
