The other day I sat up in bed and realized with horror that it had been two years, two years, since my last celebrity-obsessed post. That changes starting today! Tell us: Who is the celebrity you’re obsessed with right now? Here’s mine, which won’t surprise anyone…
Adam Brody and now people all over the world. In Netflix’s new romantic comedy series Nobody Wants This, Brody plays a passionate rabbi who falls in love with a sex-agnostic podcaster (Kristen Bell). What happens next? (We know.) Will they or won’t they? (They will.)
Oh, I love looking around the room.
I love hoodies and shorts.
I love forehead kisses.
I love the sweaty moments of athletes.
Best of all, did you see their first kiss scene? Kristen told MTV that she “wasn’t ready” for Adam to put his hands on her face. And the staff seemed to be holding their breath.
Before Ravi kisses her, he also says, “Hand me the ice cream. Pass me the ice cream.” Please put your bag down. ” Creator Erin Foster, who based the show on her own marriage, said Adam initially thought the line was too grandiose, but Erin explained that it was “very sexy.” Ta. To be honest, I didn’t really agree with her opinion. Especially if the man is very nice and open. Because then you see another side of him where he is in charge. I think we all remember when the hot priest told Fleabag to “kneel.”
The show isn’t perfect. The overbearing Jewish mother trope draws criticism, Kristen Bell’s character is shockingly ignorant about seemingly all religions, and her brand new relationship takes precedence over long-held career goals. But it’s fun to watch, and we all need some celebrity romance right now, right?
What are your thoughts? Have you been watching the show? What do you think about hot rabbi? The New York Times also featured several hilarious portraits of Adam as the hero of an exaggerated romantic comedy, poking out from behind leaves, jumping across parking lots, and hugging telephone poles. For those who congratulated us, we also have Shana Tovah!
P.S. Our past celebrities and doctors, chiefs, priests and therapists have fallen in love with whether TV work is realistic or not.
