If you love a Liglite design but want it customized to better fit your space – size, color, finish, configuration, or other changes – we can review a custom request for you.

This page explains exactly how to request custom changes, what information to send, and what to expect from our team before you place an order.

Important: Please do not place a standard order first and then request customization. Custom work depends on the specific product and must be checked and approved by our team before you pay. Use the email process below so we can confirm feasibility, cost and timeline.

1. What kinds of customizations can we explore?

Not every product can be customized, but for many designs we can explore changes such as:

Different size / diameter
Different height / drop length
Change in color / finish (where possible)
More / fewer heads on a multi-light fixture
Adjusting cable length
Warmer / cooler light color (if supported)

Final options depend entirely on the original product design and manufacturer constraints. We will confirm what is possible for your specific request.

2. How to request a custom light (step-by-step)

Step 1 – Choose the base product from our website

Browse our collection and pick the exact product you want to customize.

Copy the full product link (URL) from your browser. For example:

Step 2 – Email us with your requirements

Send an email to:

Use the subject line:

Subject: Custom Lighting Request – [Product Name]

In the email, please include:

  • Your full name and contact number
  • Product link from our website
  • Quantity required
  • Your delivery city and pin code
  • Clear description of the custom changes you want
  • Any reference photos or sketches (optional but helpful)
  • Desired timeline (if you have a specific date in mind)

Step 3 – We review feasibility, cost and time

Once we receive your email, our team will:

  • Check if the customization is technically possible for that product
  • Confirm any limitations or alternatives if exact changes are not possible
  • Estimate additional cost (if any) for the custom work
  • Share an estimated production and delivery timeline

We will then reply to you with a clear confirmation of what can be done, the final price and the estimated delivery date.

Step 4 – Approval & custom order invoice

If you are happy with the customization details, price and timeline:

  • You confirm by reply email that you wish to proceed
  • We generate a custom order invoice for you
  • You complete payment using the invoice link / instructions

Once payment is received, your custom order goes into production as per the agreed details.

Step 5 – Production, dispatch & delivery

Your custom piece is then:

  • Produced or modified according to the approved request
  • Quality checked before dispatch
  • Packed and shipped to your address

We will share tracking details once the order has been dispatched.

3. Please do not place a normal order and then ask for customization

Customization is not guaranteed for every product. It depends on:

  • The original design and structure of the fixture
  • Manufacturer constraints and material availability
  • Technical and safety limitations

For this reason, it is very important that:

You do not place a regular online order and then request customization afterwards.

Placing a standard order does not automatically mean the product can be altered. Custom changes must be reviewed and approved first through the email process above.

4. Helpful information to include in your request

The more detail you share, the faster we can give you an accurate answer. You may also include:

  • Room dimensions and ceiling height
  • Existing electrical points (ceiling/wall)
  • Preferred color temperature (warm / neutral / cool)
  • Whether the light needs to be dimmable
  • Any building restrictions or special installation requirements

5. Things to keep in mind about custom orders

Custom orders are made or modified especially for you. In most cases:

  • They may have a longer lead time than standard products
  • They may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns
  • They remain subject to the manufacturer’s warranty on materials and workmanship
